Mishary Rashid Ghareeb Mohammed Rashed Al-Afasy, also known as Sheikh Mishary bin Rashid Al-Afasy, is a highly acclaimed Qari from Kuwait. He was born on September 5th, 1976, which coincided with the 11th of Ramadan, 1396 H in the Islamic calendar. Sheikh Mishary pursued his education at the College of Quran at the Islamic University of Madinah, specializing in the ten Qira’at (recitation styles) and the interpretation of the Noble Quran.
